My Tank Build
#1
Yea yea I already know you haters are going to run your mouth. That's fine go ahead and suck my fat one to shut it.
I tried selling the dam thing but no one wanted to buy it and the ones that did wanted the tank wanted it free. So to make my girl happy I filled the dam thing back up to shut her up.
So this is iso2.0 cause (I) (S)tarted (O)ver.
This time I'm adding sand and going with all new live rock. Last month I got a good amount of live rock. I acid bathed it and dried it for a few days. Then put it in a 55 barrel to start the cycling. This rock was going to be for the 155. So know I need to take some of my old live rock and dry it out and acid bath it too.
I'm planning to go a different route this time around. No fuge, over sized skimmer and a lot, and I mean a lot of live rock.
As of know I got the tank filled with water and put the sand and some of the rock in the tank. I'll post some pic tomorrow.

Thanks bro. I was thinking before I asked if u wanted to sell it. "There's no way he'll let this beast go" glad I asked.
I am using the same skimmer and it works very well. The only thing I don't like is the plastic O ring that sits under the collection cup comes of very easy. When you put the collection cup back on make sure that ring is sitting in the groove or you won't get a good seal.

I know what you mean, we are working the designer to retool this issue.
