okay.. after 5 months sitting on my work bench, I'm finally determine to get this project done.. 24 LED Kit from RapidLED.com

even Gumbii, yes, all knowing Gumbii was stumped...

I got a) a power cord w/ three wires (black, white and aqua-marine Green) AND b) a driver with two wires (Brown- ACL and Blue ACN)

which one do I connect together to get the driver powered!??

hahahaha... you had to put that i was stumped...

after i got home i found a thread somewhere with the answer... it doesn't matter... you really don't need the ground, but i would ground the heat sinks together... but the white and black wire can go to any of the blue and brown wire...

i should've texteded it to you... my bad... :)

Its a Mean Well LPC-35-700.. made in china.. so its American.. lol....

okay.. so it doesn't matter then?... blue w/ white and black w/ brown?.. and forget the aqua-marine green wire?..

it won't blow if I mess this up right?...

Hey I know Europe uses blue and brown for there power colors. Like we use black and white. I think brown is hot/ black. Blue is neutral/ white. Is the balast or whatever European? http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_5/chpt_2/2.html

i found this on RC on the rapidled forum...

The ACN/ACL wires will go to the black and white wires coming from the power cord. The order in which they are wired (ie. black to ACN or black to ACL, etc) does not matter as this is AC power.

The green (ground) wire is typically unused in this application.

your first post answered the question...
(Brown- ACL and Blue ACN)

ACL = AC Line = line voltage and should match up with the Black wire
ACN = AC Neutral and should match up with the White wire

Generally it doesnt matter with most ballast..all they are is a coil inside

But it is strange that there is no wiring diagram on the label it's pretty standard practice to have one and by it not having one usually means it does not matter.....

That still doesn't clarify which goes to the black wire and which goes to the white wire on the power cord end.. but since it doesn't matter, I'll do what Travis instructed.... worse case, nothing works and I put Travis on blast on the forum :)...

wait yeah it shows you right in your picture acn-blue and acl- brown
