Is direct flow good or bad for my sps. I have a couple of them almost in front of my Tunze 6080, about 15" away. I'm wondering if the strong flow will hurt it.
Thanks

Direct flow can rip off the flesh if it's strong enough. Do the polyps extend? How strong does it feel when you put your hand in front of it? It seems like 15" should be fine, but if a gyre or the like gets going, it could be too much. Watch the corals, they'll let you know what's going on.

Wahhhhhhhhhh
I just came home and check on my sps .. the whole side that faces the powerhead were bone white .. all the flesh were ripped off to the bone .. I displaced my sps .. but wonder if it will recover from that.
