Can't seem to be able to raise Kh and Ca? 75g tank with 29g sump. I have gone through 2 gallons each of alk and ca dose and my levels stay the same. Kh=8.0 and Ca=400. Mg is 1350. Seem that the more I add the more they stay the same. Any thoughts? Thanks

what kind of skimmer?

and how long did it take you to go through the 1 gal of cal and alk?

Also, check your Magnesium levels. If it is low, it can be hard to balance alk/ca.

It would help to have more info on your tank (livestock, what and how much stony corals, coralline growth etc).

Also, if you have crazy coral growth (and a full tank of growing stony corals) you may have hit the limit for 2 part. I hit it with my 125 gallon and just took the jump to a Ca reactor.

Your 2 part might not be very strong. What 2 part are you using? How much are you adding and how long in between dosing?
