I have a 100g glass corner tank w/ a crack at the bottom. The tank holds water, but I don't think it will hold the pressure of a full reef.

Can I add 3/8" acrylic on top and bottom of the glass to strengthen it and keep it from breaking?

I wouldn't. It would be cheaper top buy a new tank now then to risk losing your investment once you begin stocking.

That is not a good idea. Even tho it hold water but with the LR and stuff and flow. Too much stress on the tank. I wouldn't

the real fix

you shouldn't do any kind of mickey mouse stuff, unless its some real thick glass like leemar( but still would have to do it right ), your best bet is to get a new tank or take it to a pro aquarium manuf. and let them do it. they prob. replaced the whole bottom or a pro repair job with their quarantee on it... no sleepless nights or wake up in the middle of night screaming..
