what does green coralline algae mean??

hi, my 2 months old tank is growing what looks like coralline algae except is green instead of purple i am expecting to see....what does it mean?? the coralline algae growing on my rocks are half purple half green. but the ones on the acrylic are all green.....i heard is something to do with calcium lvl. is it true??

i've never heard that the green coraline was bad, not as desired as the pink, but not bad, just a different type i think.

It is just a different type of algea. I have never minded it. I have always had a combination of green, pink, and purple coralline growing in my tanks.
