small black worms or...?

in my 24 gallon aquapod, i just looked to see covered in sand a bunch of small black worms perhaps? or shavings of....?
i think their moving but could be the powerhead moving them. can get pics if needed but theres ALOT covering sand and everywhere. very small! any ideas?

yeah i did some research on those....
their VERY small just lil bigger then a piece of hair...
black..
but moving and EVERYWHERE i mean covered in my sandbed ...
idk =/
whats a good camera for taking pics of these types of things?

i think i may know what you are talking about. let me go through some of my pictures of a few years ago and see if i can find it. I asked Dr. Ron S about something like that before and he didn't know what it was.

Going through my photo tags that I added with the image back in '99 it was identified by Dr Ron Shimeck back then as some type of planaria. He couldn't get any more detail since I couldn't get a closer image with camera. HTH
