Am I going too fast & when can I add more to the tank?
Going to hold on and see what happens for the next 1-2 weeks.

180g tank cycled and running about 2-3 weeks.

Week 2 - NH3=0, Nitrite/NO2=0, Nitrate/NO3=2ppm
-Added 2 damsels, 4 hermit crab.
-Added xenia.
-Added 10 snails.

*1 damsel is MIA...presumed KIA

Week 3 - NH3=0, Nitrite/NO2=0, Nitrate/NO3=5ppm
-Added 1 royal gamma, 3 chromis, 1 more damsel :( (wife went shopping)
-Added 2 lawnmower & 2 white sleeper goby

*RIP 1 chromis

Side Q. Can I start stocking up the fuge? And what should I stock it with? Have only live rocks & live sand atm.

I was planning on 1-2 a week from the start. But you know how it goes at the LFS...like a kid in candy store with a fist full of greens.

I was at the LFS and they had paired clowns for $75 + $25 anemone. Wife almost got the package. Told her was way too early and may lose it. Also...thought a C-note was a little on the high end.

I agree with Bebo77.... I wouldn't add any more damsels (Chromis are ok). Damsels get mean towards their tankmates and are real tough to catch.

I would work up a fish wish list and add accordingly (and slowly).

You could start putting Chaeto in your fuge. You'll want a light with a kelvin rating 5500-6500. This will start your nutrient export.

For a 180, you can do quite a bit.

You might want to add some Anthias. Great color flash! I would consider Barletts and Ignitus if you like the pastel colors or Lyretails if you prefer bold colorations.

Maybe a few Yellow Tangs that will really add some nice color.

Here are a couple old shots of my 180:

Nice Doug.

Good to know I have room to support more fishes. So much more to get :)
I'll be also getting a few females for the royal gamma I currently have. Want him to be happy and tired :D Uh...unless he is a she...how do you tell with fishes...not like you see a big slong on the under carriage?

You thank me now, but wait until it spreads. You will be cursing me. :D

When your tank is ready and if I can figure out how to get my RBTA clone out, I will sell it for cheap if you are interested.

Will do :)

My whole family loves the way it floats & waves in the current. Once I get the brown algae bloom issue taken care of, my next addition to the tank is clowns + anemone.

doug thats a cool clown u got there man. :)

Almost as cool as the guy that gave her away :five:
Thanks Bebo77 for the RBTA also.

She's doing great, she really loves to feed the anemone silversides. I drop one in the far end of the tank and she rushes over there to bring it to the nem. Everybody gets a kick out of it, especially because she feeds the nem before herself!
