I was working taking a load to Frisco on my way back stopped @ gaviota beach
Up north of Santa Barbra off the 101.
Snapped a cpl pics with iPhone thought I would share.

This was view from my truck bumper in Frisco.

Thats really cool! Is there anywhere you can see stuff like this in the oc beach cities?
Not that I know of personally
But I use to take 91 west then artesia blvd to beach turn right.
A little ways down there lots of rocks & I use 2 see ALOT of nems & crabs but this was along time ago.

you can see this at crystal cove in the OC area past newport beach. Or check out Cabrillo Beach Park in San Pedro, they have a long tide pool full of awesome things to look and pick at.

Even past Crystal Cove there are a bunch of tide pools on both sides of Main Beach in Laguna Beach. I used to love going down there and breaking open s few of the muscles to feed all the little Blennies :)

Frisco is a long way to go to check these out but nice to know u can see these things in their environment with out having to go on vacation somewhere far

You would need a temperate, or cold water, tank for ocean creatures found on our Pacific Coast. Our tropical systems are too warm for them.
Not to mention, it's illegal to 'harvest' anything from the ocean without a permit.

I didn't think they would make it otherwise u would have a lot of people picking them from everywhere
