The Big Retiree is having his jersey retired by the Lakers tonight. Do you think its well deserved or should he be ostracized for being a celtic before retiring?

deserves to have his number retired. Keep in mind the lakers gave him the boot first. Im glad neither party have ill feelings anymore. Shaq is a big part of lakers history. Three peat and the most dominate center to ever play the game.

And that jersey retirement speech proves why he deserved to have his jersey hanging at staples with all the other laker greats. there will never be another laker great with a personality like shaqs..i like that they played the superman theme song as he was the original superman before d howard.

With out a doubt the Lakers did the right thing. If it wasn't for the couples break up kobe would have his 6th. Nothing but good things to say about shaq on and off the court, he is a true professional and glad to have been honored to work with him.
