Lighting question

I have a 29 gallon cube with 2 PC lights. I want to add a couple ecoxotic stunner strips for added light and color. Is it safe to put the LED strips in the little plastic canopy? It has a couple cooling fans. Wasn't sure if it would get to warm?

U should look into one of the retrofit kits that rapid led sells. Ditch the whole PC thing.

Those kits are quite a bit more than I'm looking to spend. Just wondering if the fans keep it cool enough in the canopy to put a strip or 2 in there

Check out aquastyle led. U can get a bitchen setup for under $150....maybe less

OK, I appreciate what your saying, however, I can pick up stunner strips for $40. I just bought new PCs last month which was another $40 soooo, my question simply was, can I add a stunner strip to the hood?

Not sure if a $40 stunner strip will even be noticed. Are they only 1w LEDs?
