Is it safe to use Ozone in an acrylic tank?

I thought I had read a while back that ozone can make the plastic or acrylic container (skimmer) brittle if used for a long time.

I have an all-in-one tank so the ozone would have to go into one of the back chambers of the tank.

Thanks!

Very very long period of time, ozone is toxic to reef habitat so use it carefully. I think you use it for skimmer. Can I ask what kind of skimmer are you plan to use, because I don't know any all-in-one skimmer capable to work with ozone?

I was either going to use a tunze 9002 or not skim at all for this tank. I will have to see if I can use ozone with the tunze.

If I don't use a skimmer, I was thinking about just running the ozone in one of the back chambers to help keep the water looking crystal clear. I just don't want the integrity or the clarity of acrylic of the acrylic to be affected by using the ozone in one of the back chambers.
