protein skimmer ?

i am in the market to upgrade my protein skimmer. ive seen needle wheel types ,spray injection and venturi types. is one better than the other? any recomendations for a skimmer under $200 to run in my 60g tank?

for around 200 Ill go with a G2 or g3 and do the recirc mods to it

I will have a G3 w/ mesh mod for sale for $200 in about 2-3 wks. The Sedra 5000 has a new ceramic shindle, new bushings, new orings... the skimmer will be in excellent condition. I'm selling it because a BM250 will be coming in.

Get a ER RS135 at that shop that has midnight madness sales. Great skimmer, I've got one on my 120. Plus, it's build tough. My kids (that won't happen) could clean it and put it back into operation.

I've got a g3 mesh/gate mod on my 60 and it does a good job, but not as good as the ER. The G3 seems to be pretty flimsy in comparison.

i have a G4X fully modded for $250... like the G3,it has the ceramic spindle and actually no recirc mod, it dont need it... The gate valve mod is a requirement, totally lets you dial in teh foam...
