I will be down from LA and would like to see some LFS while in town. Any sugestions to were to go would be great.

For actual fish/coral stores I would say Aquatic Warehouse and Octopus Garden since you can knock out both stores as they are close to each other. I also like Pet Kingdom as Nick mentioned they carry ORA corals and they have a huge selection of reptiles if you have any interest in that. It's about 20-25 minutes from AW and OG. If you are coming down the 5 freeway, you can also check out the Pond Source in Carlsbad which has the same owner as AW. Their coral/fish selection is not as big as AW but they do get in some unique pieces from time to time and checking out all their koi is cool.

Two stores are opening or opened in North County San Diego...Shipwreck Cove in Encinitas and Aquatica in San Marcos...check out SD reefs sponsors

...Both of those are awesome places, Aquatica is still not open for a bit. Shipwreck Cove does a 1 week guarantee on all fish, and their customer service is second to none!

It was posted today that Advanced Aquarist Magazine is going to feature Aquatica in San Marcos...check announcement in SD Reefs sponsors section....

Grand Opening of Socal newest LFS Aquatica down in North county San Diego. an Ecotech rep is coming from the east coast to demo Radions..if you haven't seen this store, it is unlike any LFS in Socal...Check SD Reefs for Info
