Just forward this post to a friend who just left my house wanting a EV 180 like mine but this one is way better. Hopefully he's interested but you sound far from LA :/

I also went down to San Diego where they are made and they Basically rebuilt it although there is not many parts on it. They replaced all but the ball valve.
Where in L.A. are you or your friend located?

Thanks for the skimmer Tommy!!! That thing is a beast! My friend is in love with it and specially with the idea that now he can overstock his tank with more corals and fish knowing this skimmer will be able to handle it......... GREAT GUY HERE, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING FROM HIM.
