Hello everyone,

This is Chivan from Aliso Viejo. Just moved here from the Windy City Chicago http://www.socalireefs.com/forums/images/smilies/smow.gif . I left this hobby almost 7 years ago and have forgotten most of the skills required to start it up again. But what I will never forget is that this hobby is expensive, time consuming, and if not careful... Could end up in a divorce.http://www.socalireefs.com/forums/images/smilies/deal.gif

I promised my wife that this time I will only have 1 small tank NOT 5 big ones which I had in Chicago. So I am now on a quest to set up a small 120g (4x2x2) FOWLR with a few easy to maintain corals to add some colors to the setup.

Warmest Regards,
Chivan.

Thank you all for the welcome. Homes in Chicago are quite affordable compare to CA and they all have basements. Just like most members here, I started with 1, then 2, then before I know it, all 4 walls have saltwater tanks. Then came the fresh water flowerhorn fish fever. At one point, my basement had more fish tanks and fish than some of the LFS. Then the wife stepped in and ended it all. In CA there is no basement, so I am only allowed to have 1 small tank in the house. For me, 120g FOWLR is the smallest size needed. Because after putting in the Live Rocks, there is still some room for the fish to swim around and grow.
