Just in case you happen to flash your reefkeeper with the wrong firmware

With many electronics if you flashed it with the wrong firmware you pretty much just bricked it. That's what I thought I did with my rkl. My dumbass flashed it with the RD1 firmware. Plugged it in after and it says wrong firmware. Tried forcing the RKL firmware but it says firmware does not match RD1. Thought I was gonna have to send it in but decided to try something risky. I mean I was pretty screwed already, what else could go wrong? :yu:

I figured I'll start the flashing, let it erase the firmware, unplug it from the SID before it finished, and when I plug it back in it'll let me choose what module it is. Yep, it worked. Made sure I selected RKL the second time around. The other modules flashed without a hitch.

yeah same here, that happened to me..but even if you send it in to DA....they are great and will fix RKL issue.
