Yes. If you're using 4x4s on a stand for a tank that size, it's fairly obvious you don't know what you are doing. 2 2x4s correctly positioned will work much better than a single 4x4. A 2x4 frame skinned in 3/4 ply will be more than adequate for that tank IF you put it together right. Poke around the web a bit and you'll find plenty of proven designs for that size tank.

i would of used pressure treated wood on the base just in case if spills.
