Replacement for sure, no excuses for that. I personally would have asked for a replacement immediately, if I ended up with 2 I would give one away for free to a friend.

Looks like the color is coming back. If I was the seller I would not have shipped the coral in the first place then you wouldn't have to post this thread.

I agree its time to get a replacement, especially, due to the amount of cash you dropped on it. I think youve been understanding about the situation for long enough. You gave the seller a major break by waiting a month to see what would happn. Hopefully, he'll be just as understanding and ship you out a new piece.

Upon opening, this is what I saw. Water was everywhere inside the box, and the cardboard was soggy.

For $400 bucks its not right to just let it roll like that. it will live and color up again but its not the way you sell corals. its not his fault but its not yours either. should have had shipping insurance maybe? don't know if it covers that. he totally needs to hook you up big time on other corals with your next order. you still keep this project coral that is going to live as its been a month now and will perk up someday. you should be getting baller corals for free as a hook up not just a regular coral. in reality the corals are grown out by him and don't really cost him much. he has a few im sure. its the same as if it was totally dead from the get go and had to replace or refund.

It's getting some nice color...definitely going to be a baller chalice. Just wish i didn't have to wait so long. Still pissed, and the seller has never made it up to me. ...said all his chalices were in grow out and it would be a few months. Here is his last text: "Don when I feel comfortable cutting a few pieces without jeopardizing my pieces I will let you know. It will be several weeks and I will be cutting several. "
