My red monti has begun growing these weird 'fingers' on the undersides of the shelves. Is this normal? Never seen em do this and wonder if it is getting too much light for growth to be like this on the underside?

my green flower petal monti has the exact same thing.. not sure if that's "normal" or not, but seems to be perfectly healthy. kinda neat to see the blue polyps coming out of those fingers.
that would be cool unfortunately.. these are just bare like the underside of the monti :/ I guess they wont color up unless they reach the light. looks crazy tho lol
