Hello,
I'm setting up a 300g sps and have an aquamaxx coneS co3 from my 180 on which the skimmer performed wonderfully.
Am I undersized skimmer wise or the co3 is enough for the larger tank? Per manufacturers info it's :
Volume Rating: 500 Gallons
Footprint: 12.6" x 14.6
Height: 22.9
Chamber diameter: 8
Outlet size: 1 Quick-Precise adjustment valve
Pump (included): Modified Sicce 3.0
Water Flow Rate: 2600 l/Hr
Air Intake: 1020 l/Hr
Pump power consumption: 27 watts
Recommended Water Leve: 8"-10
Requires approximately 1/2" of clearance to remove collection cup.

I know they overrate just don't know how much

Those are about the same dims as my itech200. Minus a half inch on the footprint but add 2" to the hight. And the air draw is anywhere in between 900-1100 l/hr depending on the depth of water the pump sits in.
But it might be good enough for a lightly stocked 300 but I would say no where close for a heavily stocked 300.
