I went with the red and blue LED (20W), **** it seems brighter than my radieons.... I did the weed grower glow it throws out, I'm sure the OC Sheriff is going to take more interest in my house. Between that and all the plumbing fixtures....I"m sure I hit some flag and Homeland security is now tracking me.
We are going to place plastic guards around the outsides of the tanks. There is more of a gap than it appears there. Also with the way we have built the drains there is no splash. I'm more in love with the bean animal style drains than I could ever think. I used them on both the main tank and the drain between the fuge and the sump. Took some work to get dialed in, but sometimes I have to double check to make sure the water is actually moving.
