Hey Everyone.

I'm in the process of redesigning my sump, creating more and efficient space, increasing total water volume, and cleaning up the design. I have to BRS deluxe reactors hanging from the upper part of the stand right now but this is not going to work as I want to create work space above the sump and the current set-up does not allow this very easily. So my question, who here has their media reactor(s) hard plumbed? If you do, which reactors? I am planning on placing two reactors within the sump.

I'm considering:

Vertex. Can be hard plumbed or use tubing. Includes Valve with Unions and interior canister for the media which can be removed without removing the entire unit.

Next Reef MR1. Appears to use only tubing, but appears to be a well made solid unit.

Aquamaxx. Also appears to be a solid, well made unit.

All use 3/4" fittings or barbs.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions.

Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

Mike
