Still working on the new tank design and wanted some input on the return line placement. My first thought was to put the return line in the overflow box but should it be on the other side?
I am trying to have everything drilled through the bottom of the tank so I can have it as close to the wall as possible which is why I was going to put everything in the overflow box but if it's recommended to have the return line on the other side of the overflow box I guess I could put a small box just for the return on the other side.
This is for a 150gal build with two 1 1/2" drain lines (herbie system), and a 1" return line to support the SP4 return pump, (specs say it has 1" fitting)
Thoughts?
