Kessil controllability question

Do they sell a separate controller to automatically adjust the A360w?

Or is apex/reef keeper the only way?
I have a apex jr but my aqua bust/USB ports are busted and needs to be repaired.

Kessil does make the controller that you can buy separately. http://reefbuilders.com/2014/05/15/kessil-spectral-controller-play-nice-a360-leds/

You can also control via Apex but for Apex Jr, you will also need a VDM module.

That would be cool... They need to release it already. Might have to just upgrade my apex but really don't want to do that. I wish they would just build a controller in the actual unit like max spec

Well it's still in the box along with the 2 kessils I won at MACNA so I honestly can't give you an opinion. Now it seems as this controller offers more features then an apex so I would guess at this point the controller is better

Yea I mean, all the apex or RK will do is set ramp times and schedule. The Kessil controller does much more, like acclimation mode and stuff like that
