What's everyone using for a refugium light?

Hi All,

Need to start looking at a refugium light and wanted to see what everyone is using? My refugium is about 18x18x18 and I only have about 9 inches from the bottom of the tank to the top of the sump.

I just bought a 24" ecoxotics marine pro for my 24" display fuge

I have the 12" version on my current setup and it grows chaeto very well

I'm one that feels either go big or get the eff out so I went with a 180watt led hydroponic fixture

I can grow clams in my sump and have.

I like the PAR38 idea; don't have a Costco membership but I found these on Amazon.

Yup. That light is pretty much exactly what I'm using and mine said weatherproof too which made me feel better because of all the splashing that inevitably happens down there and the humidity in an enclosed stand

Just bought this light for my fuge and all I can say is ****!!!!!! very nice clean low profile light. I used one of the big home depot bulbs and fixtures but it took up to much room in my sump and I didn't notice any crazy growth. I just use some of the cheap led lights you can buy on ebayfor about $15 bucks and they just screw into a regular light socket.

i use this smallish $60 led panel, doubled my cheato volume in 5 days. very low profile panel, prolly good in tight sumps. described as waterproof, lol
