I've always maintained the practice that this marine hobby of mine is to raise aquatic pets and the main purpose is relaxation and fun while provide the necessary care for their wellbeing. I've taken chemistry, electrical engineering, and biology courses in college but do not trust my skills in those areas to be sufficient enough to work on aquatic needs related to those fields. Thus, I've chosen to follow instruction from those who do those as a profession. Otherwise this hobby is too stressful for me. Even though it may be cheaper and just as effective to use vinegar or vodka dosing than using this RedSea product, it's just much easier to follow instruction on the basis of providing the best care to these aquatic pets while maintaining the relaxing status of this hobby.
