Any one here been in coast guard? planing on applying after I finish my 15 college credits since I have a GED . If you have how was the experience ?

It was fun. If you can try to get stationed over seas like Guam or Puerto Rico. A lot of rescue, drug/dea stuff, or being on a cutter up north. Easy to make rank as well, but I was enlisted not an officer. If you can try to get a degree in something and go in as an officer. Life much easier. Btw boot camp is in cape may NJ. Lots of local Wawa stores. Kinda like out 7-11. Just a random fact LOL
