As reefers, how do we feel about these? My return pump is held together with them. But the idea of metal in my tank, in anyway bothers me. I had an idea to cover the heads of the screws with a dab of aquarium sealant. Any thoughts on this?

Stainless is stainless for a reason. The reason they use them is because they are stainless... every pump has stainless screw and no one has problems. Don't sweat it.

So what do y'all think about the sealant idea? Aquarium sealant on top of the screw heads. How can that hurt...?

Or you can swap them out for titanium screws, like what royal exclusive and vertex use on there skimmer body.
