Hello! I'm Alex and live in the Torrance. I started with freshwater and eventually made it to saltwater aquariums about 4 years ago. Started with small 10 gallon tanks and went up to 50 gallons. Learned throughout the years from multiple failures and tank crashes :a10:. Now I'm running a Coralife Biocube 14 gallon and haven't run into any issues yet!

Thanks! It's some type of volcanic sand. I don't remember the name of it. Got it a few years ago. I used to mix black and white sand but it would always separate for some reason :(
