We are here in Fiji right now with my parents for their 50th anniv. We arrived yesterday and got to go snorkeling out in front of our house today. I'm now trying to figure out how to get this stuff home...lol.
Saw lots of the usual critters.
large schools of blue chromis on coral heads
Dwarf lion fish
A couple of different types of butterflies, saddlebacks, scribed, etc.
An amazing little Moorish idol, his coloration and markings way better than anything I have seen before.
An albino blue ribbon eel, he was super friendly.
Triggers
6 line wrasses
Tomato clowns and BTAs (kind of a whitish orange BTA)
a couple of goby/tiger pistol shrimp pairs (always a favorite)
a bunch of random wrasses
and my personal favorite, a light blue wrasse, it looks like rhomboid wrasse with the same markings, but an iridescent light blue. (we saw hundreds of them)
I didn't have a camera with me...foolish as I have a good camera at home.
For the SPS dudes, there was this crazy blue coral I know you would die to have in your tank.
No LPS and no Zoas.
Will hunt again later
