Power head question

I have a 40 gallon long (36x18x16). How many power heads and how many gph should they be rated at. I can't afford a top of the line model. If you could suggest a budget model I would really appreciate it. I have 3 chromis in the tank with 25lbs of live rock. I plan on doing easy corals in the future.
