I know the test kit is simple...But I'm having trouble...All I want know what are the numbers I need to have on the on the screen of the test kit..for my reef tank

Should be anywhere from 250 - 600. It all depends on the levels of your tank. What are you seeing?

May sound like something so simple, but make sure the sample glass container doesnt have water or finger prints when putting in the checker to read the results.

Yes..I been making sure that the glass container is clean..... I been leaving it at 400 or 405...according to the digital screen on the test kit..

sounds about right...so you're just asking what number you should be aiming for in a reef tank? if so, my tanks have done really well in the 420-450 range.
