YeH I just googled it. They need to be alone with star fish only pretty much. Who the h3ll isbhebgoing to mimic then. Lol
Hahaha, mimic octopus imitate other sea creatures, it doesn't have to be around those creatures to pull off its stunts. It will usually mimic when you feed them, or when they feel threatened.

The head is about the size of a thumb, but probably alot smaller than yours Derk. :sarcastic:

Mimics need a big tank. And definitely not reef safe haha. You can check a lot of people's blogs over on TONMO.
Absolutely right, unless you really like your mimic and want to give it plenty to play with.

Hahaha! After having a blue ringed octopus.. Nothing else compares!
Do it! Mimics are a different experience, and i'm sure you already know that different octopus' have varying degrees of personality.
