I was told by someone that cleaner shrimp eat snails and that's why they don't keep the cleaner shrimp with the snails. is that true? I can't find anything like that in a search.

I've seen one of mine pick at one that was stuck on its back, but I haven't heard of one seeking out snails for food exclusively. They're more opportunistic eaters than hunters.

Cleaner shrimp suck because they steal food from coral. They even go up to my acans an hour after they ate and the food isn't visible, and they pry the acan' mouths open and take what's inside. Such bastards. But they won't kill a snail that's too savage for a skunk cleaner.
