I bought this not colored up as a cali tort, then got a call from the seller saying he accidently gave me vivid rainbow delight.....I'm thinking Cali tort since there is no sign of red anything. like most of my pieces nowa days, its laying on a nice thick bed of bubble algae.

Yeah I got it for free when I picked up my sols from another reefer. Looked dead but I gave it a shot. Glad I did, the new growth is looking nice.

Im pretty sure that's not Vivid Rainbow Delight Matt. The rainbow delight doesn't have green polyps...should be dark red/pink polyp and the body doesn't have that much green either. It also doesn't look like Cali tort either....at least my Cali tort has blue polyps.

A brown colony hopefully turning into something nicer - Bump

Nice pick up! That's what I love about this hobby...picking up some "brown" corals for nothing or cheap then it turns into a gem :)

Matt suck the valonia manually and get an emerald crab. It will go to town on that valonia.
I had a couple in there but they disappeared a while back. Maybe my wrasse?
