I can't believe it took this long. I wonder if they still get bad ich outbreaks or if they are less territorial

Anything in the name of sustainability is great, but I highly doubt people are going to pay extra when you can get a regular yellow tang pretty cheap that is relatively hardy already. Although, they're probably years away from breeding these guys like we breed clownfish though.

Gotta love that!

Think they'll be yellow still in 10-15 years?

I want a lightning - picasso - phantom - psychedelic yellow tang!

They will be pricey at first but then become supper cheap after everyone starts breeding them. Just like clowns. I will be Interested in there change in behavior if any. Tanks raised clowns act different then wild caught

There has been talk for years about banning collection in Hawaii. I'm pretty sure that's where most yellows come from

They shouldve gone for the jugular & bred gem tangs.

Theoretically should be as easy as yellows since they are in the same genus. Then you could hybrid with other zebramosas: desjar/sailfin, yella, scopas (not worth it), black, purple.
