Hello from Austin, Texas!

Hey everyone! I saw that the founder of ReefDiscussion.com posted in our local club (Austin Reef Club) about this website. After taking a look around, I figured signing up would be a GREAT idea!

About me:

My name is Brooks, I'm 15 years old, and I have a 75g SPS tank. It has been up and running for 2 years, however, I just recently (5 months ago) started adding coral. So far, everything has gone very smoothly. As of late, I've developed an addiction to SPS collection. :stoned:


Currently I've got about 15 (More than 1 of some pieces) SPS pieces in my tank.

These include:

Red Milli
Rose Milli
Blue Milli
Cali. Tort
Green Bird's Nest
Pink Bird's Nest
Roscoe's Blue Acro
Northern Lights Nasuta
Tri-Color Acro
Orange Monti

Also I've got...

Hot Lava Chalice
Goniopora Stoski
Misc. Rock of 6 different Zoa's
Caribbean Blue Zoa's
Neon Green Mushrooms


For equipment I've got...

Some sort of protein skimmer
Sump/Refugium
Return Pump
2 K3's (Ordered 2 more K4's)
4x54w T5 and 1x250w MH



I'm surprised at the growth I've had in some of my older pieces. It's really fun watching how these things turn out! :elefant:

welcome. great pictures of the tank as well. i made it out to the corals farmers market last year in fort worth. you have a great group of reefers in that huge state of yours.
