I have a QT tank in the garage and I want to put foam insulation around it. Do you think that there's any negative effect on fish being inside a white box and can't see out? I would take the front panel off most of the day but at night, enclose it.
It will be no problem at all. I have my discus setup in the garage, and I cover all growing out tanks with foams around the tanks to keep warm during winter. Fish still grow well.
