So I'm trying to place my Sherman rose on a rock next to all my anemones, but there's like 6 large aptasia on the rock. I'm afraid if I place the anemone on the rock, the aptasia will harm the anemone (is there any truth to that?). I need a way to kill the aptasia off that particular rock. I've tried smothering them with epoxy once, but they all kinda slipped through the epoxy. Is there anything that quickly kills aptasia on the spot? I'm not trying to control them, just wipe them off a particular spot so I can put my anemone there.

Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks!

Aiptasia X has proven to be most effective for me, that's what I would use in this situation where you need to be sure it doesn't come back.

Aiptasia x works pretty fast.

I use Aiptasia X it worked and killed most of the Aiptasia. There were some hidden ones on a rock given to me and was placed in my tank. I had a really bad problem and couldn't find a solution, until I picked up a filefish that ate all of it.
