I think i need to add some flow to my 75g (48x18x20)...which Gyre do I need...130 or 150? This would be in addition to 2 Tunze 6095s that would be used for a couple of dead spots.

Is anyone using these vertically in a corner? How do they work?

130, although you can always turn down the 150 and you could use it for a future upgrade.

My tank is 48x30x21 tall. I have a 150. I have mine at 10 percent forward and 100 percent backwards. I could do 20 percent with some sand blowing a little bit after that sand everywhere. This thing moves a lot of water. If I had a bare bottom i would run it at probably 50 percent or more

Thats helpful all, thanks.

Does getting the larger pump and running it at a lower speed help with noise reduction or is about the same either way?

I have the 150 for my 150 at 50% and im lovin it. although It can get a little confusing with the settings and the rotors are very delicate. Always order extra rotors and parts.
