Can you overdose "Carbon" in a reef tank? If you use too much carbon in your reactor will it cause a bacteria bloom??

I believe you can over use carbon in s reef. By using to much carbon u can strip the water to clean causing your corals to starve.
Now I've never seen the over use of carbon to cause a bacteria bloom.
Unless your meaning the use of a carbon food source like bio pellets, vsv, nopox, or any other carbon dosing proses. Yes u can overdose a carbon food source too
But no u will not cause a bacteria bloom if u use to much activated carbon in a reactor. But like I said u can strip the water to clean

Sorry should have been a bit more clear. I am talking about activated carbon.
