I just need to find out if I can use stainless tubing on my aquarium with the salt water.
I have finished drawing up the plans 2x2 tubing triangulated where it needs for strenght.
SInce my tank sits right next to a AC vent my stands are always freezing cold. SO I fugured I will plumb the saltwater to run through the stand to help keep it cool and run no chiller.:top: AC is always on at my house anyway 24hrs a day.
It's pretty complex but Ihave fabricated more difficult things before.
Pretty sweet gets pumped in the bottom back runs up through all the top tubes down 1 side zig zags then comes out one of the center braces.
I am currently waiting for prices from Totten tube in Azusa. They are trying to find me the best stainless steel for the job. ALuminum is also being considered as I have aplace that can hard anodize and it leaves a teflon coating that doesn't corrode.:marchmellow:
WOOHOO All hail metal stands.
