japenese toadstool is green base, with huge pink/white polyps... this...





that one is collected in indo... i forgot it's name... but i think Ali has it from amazing aquariums and reefs... i think he has all of them... i love toadstools... very under-hyped coral...

the japanese deep water one came from cb and has more neon stems with neon green polyps the one that Ali has the pink is Australia one not Deep water both are extremely nice.

Never said it was better nor did I say it was tyrees. But for comparison purposes there is difference japanese deep water toad have bigger more open polyps they don't look limp like the regular neon green toad stool. Their stem is neon green not tan or light green.

I just pick up a weeping willow toadstool frag yesterday, it has green polyps. I bought 2 different types of Japanese toadstools from Mike, I think that was his name from The Captive Reef about 5-6 years, one had green polyps and the other one had white polyps, they are some of the nicer toadstools but they are very slow growers.

I was gonna say, now put a weeping willow in the mix and you are set. Although ww don't have green polyps, they are all tan/pearl colored...atleast the og ones are.

I have a Japanese toadstool as well. I have probably had it for over 5 years. Its a slow grower. Its on the lower left of the picture

Well I got them both around the same time and same size and you can tell the regular neon green toadstool is a lot bigger in size for size comparison maybe about 1/16" every 5 or 6 months
