I dose twice a week with Reef Energy A and B in my Reefer 350 reef tank. Everytime I do this, I have turn off my Vertex 150 skimmer for at least 12 hrs due to overflowing. Is this normal?
Thanks

When i used it before i only dosed once a week. I would turn off the skimmer for 1 hr and turn it back on and everything was ok.

I would try dosing once a week. I don't remember but one of the bottle contain amino acid.

you're not the first. Its a foaming/high air-intake skimmer for sure. But well-known to be finicky like that.

Surprised that it takes 12 hours, sounds like your system's biological isnt breaking it down fast so residual components that make it foamy lingers more.

Its hard to say what a good resolution for it is.
