I have one and i'm running it stock. I have a ball of chaeto inside the tank so live pods can roam back and forth from the chaeto to the LR. This way it gives my goby a chance to come out and munch on them. :)

The pump upgrade is Aqueon 600 return pump which you can get from Amazon.

A minor mod will make it fit. I have mine up and running.

Remove front cover and pop off flow dial.
Using a razor blade remove the half moon piece
Remove rear black plastic cover
Install pump

When you do the mod (taking off top cover and bottom cover with adjustment). It's on full power.
