I'm trying to get around to visiting all the great stores in the SoCal area. So when I say "driving distance," I'm thinking within 2 hours. LOL Which one is your favorite, and why? I'm hoping this will be a fun thread! :D :D

One needs to be added, and I know it is far from you guys (I am up in the central coast and it is 1.5 hrs south of me) but Triton Corals Santa Barbara is honestly worth your drive.

The owner Henson is extremely friendly, the deals are amazing (many frags that would cost you hundreds elsewhere can be had for much less), the SPS is probably the healthiest you will ever see, no pests, all QT'ed, and the variety is incredible.

When I want to buy coral, I drive south to Triton Corals. If you ever head north, make it a point to stop in and see the place.

The LFS' near me (central coast) have some great and knowledgeable people and good hardware, but the coral game is lacking up here at the moment.

Good list. I'd also like to add Strictly Fish in long Beach. I haven't bought coral from them, but they have a good fish selection and great prices. Purchased both of my tanks from them.

I'd like to Ellis Aquatics in the list as well. Great little place packed with tons of stuff. Parking can be tough but definitely worth it.

Like to add Deep blue aquarium in North Hollywood. A lil hidden gem with lots of corals. Look closely and you will find some nice stuff. It's a family own business. I usually go on weekends to talk to Hong. He's very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. They always have corals or fish that is being baby sit for people on vacation or tank crashing.
