I would suggest 1 inch returns at least to the T.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking that too but the vectra M1 unlike the L1 doesn't even have a 1" fitting so I figured I'd give it a shot since they think it's good enough to stick with 3/4". Personally, I'm not big on high GPH on the return as I like the sump flow to be a little slow and murinate. If I run into pump shut off due to too much back pressure then I'll hack the sucker and upsize to 1".

How you have shouldn't be a problem. Like you, I like a very slow turnover rate.
