Going to be setting up my 120 once I move next month. Looking for a good quality quiet skimmer, in sump. Looking at reef octopus though would like suggestions since I haven't had a reef for 10 years and there's a lot of new stuff now. Planning on around 300$.

I have skimz on mine, and I love it. If u want save some $$$, I would suggest to wait. Black Friday is almost here. Aquacave has some great deals on skimmers during that time.

I have the bubble magus not G7 ..... Same as curve 7 except pump chamber is gone (smaller footprint) and better gear driven controls. Same body, cup pump etc......if you want it I'd sell it reasonably cheap....I was keeping it as a backup.....

I have this ATB 840 v1.5 if you're interested. Traded a couple AI Sols I had on a nano for it by probably won't be able to use it for a while. $250 and it's yours. O-Ring ripped so ordered a new one from ATB USA so new o-ring on the skimmer cup. Should kick arse on a tank that size.

Here are pics....
