Float valve question.

So I just bought this float valve and a BOB. Aim was to have the float valve turn off the skimmer and ato if water in the sump got too high. But as you can see in the pic the wire goes to an adapter head. If i cut the head off can I just attached the wires to the BOB?

I've not seen one with an adapter head like that but I'm sure once you cut the head off there would be a standard 2 wires inside.

the plug is only two wires. Im using that switch but with a Reef Octopus High Voltage switch. It shuts off my skimmer when water level is high on the sump. Its a good fail safe to prevent overflowing skimmer cup after performing water changes.

Just cut the wire and strip it. You'll be fine.. If you don't feel comfortable, you can always find a female end and strip that end
